IBB Ingenieurbau Bismark GmbH

The firm Ingenieurbau Bismark GmbH was founded in 1990 under the old name of Ingenieurbüro Bismark GmbH. Due to its dynamic development, coupled with the steady expansion of its achievement potential, the amalgamation occurred in the year 2013 with the firm Industrielackierung Bismark at the same location to form today's Ingenieurbau Bismark (IBB) GmbH. With 45 employees, IBB GmbH is currently one of the three most important employers in Bismark, and with its innovative products is one of the leading steel construction companies in the north of Saxony-Anhalt.

The field of steel construction and plant engineering forms the core area of the company. Over a production area of more than 6,000 m², modern computer-controlled manufacturing technology (including a CNC drilling and sawing facility, a CNC drilling and burning line, a mandrel tube bending machine) is used for the mainly automatic manufacturing of the steel structures, which are joined together by the fitters of IBB GmbH all over the world to form air traffic control towers, steel halls and industrial plants.

The necessary design work is carried out previously at Ingenieurbau Bismark by the company's own design team on powerful CAD systems. The most important reference objects that bear witness to the high levels of performance of the IBB company from the Altmark are the air traffic control towers that can be found at the airports of Ulan Bator, Athens, Gyandsha in Azerbaijan, Simferopol, Donetsk and Lviv in Ukraine, Mongomeyen in Equatorial Guinea and on the British Virgin Islands.

With the IBB arched sectional forming units for reinforced concrete silos, the company has an innovative product with impressive unique selling points. This self-stabilising formwork system, which was awarded a gold medal at the International Inventors Exhibition IENA, enables the extremely fast, high-quality construction of silos without the need for support breakthroughs for biogas systems, grain silos and other round structures in the range from 18 to 30 m in diameter and heights of up to 6 metres.

The firm Ingenieurbau Bismark GmbH is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and possesses the manufacturer's Class E qualification for the welding of steel structures (DIN 18800 Part 7). The in-house production control (WPK) is certified according to EN 1090-1:2009 and allows the manufacturing of supporting steel components up to EXC3 according to EN 1090-2 for all types of constructions.

The flexibility, innovation, quality work and team spirit of the IBB employees, and of course our satisfied customers, will make it possible for Ingenieurbau Bismark GmbH to continue its dynamic development and further contribute in the future to the economic prosperity of the Altmark region.
